The reading challenge celebration began just as the kick-off ceremony did. Our "goal dancers" from the school's teaching staff rocked into the cafeteria with the program goals "in hand" to the melody of the "Eye of the Tiger" song.
Referee Mrs. Murray then proclaimed our reading success by sharing with the students how they "scored" in reading during this year's READ ACROSS AMERICA Challenge at Birch Meadow School .

The reading challenge celebration began just as the kick-off ceremony did. The "goal dancers" rocked into the cafeteria with the program goals "in hand" to the melody of the "Eye of the Tiger" song.
Once again, we thank second grade teacher Heidi Murray, kindergarten teacher Maria Simon, first grade teacher Patti Beckman, fourth grade teacher Jolene Tewksbury, fifth grade teacher Jennifer Emmett, and third grade teacher Maureen Thurnauer. They were all great "sports" to perform for all of us.Referee Mrs. Murray then proclaimed our reading success by sharing with the students how they "scored" in reading during this year's READ ACROSS AMERICA Challenge at Birch Meadow School .
